DynaPAD - Manual Entry

The application supports the Card Present transactions by using DynaPAd device.

The user can do a Magnetic Swipe or a Manual Entry using this terminal.

Manual Entry (via MSR) → The user has to enter card details for this manually by typing it on the device. (the message on the vela app screen during this operation will be: Follow Instructions on the terminal.)

Before performing the transactions the user has to add the DynaPAD terminal to the application on the Terminal Management page.

Once the terminal is added and connected to the computer, the device monitor displays as below:

On the Make A Payment page, Select Card Present radio button and the DynaPAD terminal from the Terminal drop-down list.

Select the Terminal Entry Mode as Manual Entry - Wired (via MSR). The user is prompted with a popup which says Follow instructions on the Terminal

On the device monitor, the user is asked to enter the card details. At this point the user has to enter the card number using the keypad on the DynaPAD device and tap on Enter button on the monitor.

Once the user enters the Card number, the device monitor prompts to enter the Expiry date. The user has to enter the expiry date (ex: 1224) and tap on Enter button on the monitor.

After that the user is prompted to enter the CVV.

Once the user provides the CVV and taps the Enter button, the device monitor displays with the message as Transaction Completed.

Now on the Make A Payment, all these card details gets captured and auto-filled.

After filling in all the required fields, the user has to click on the Review button and on the Confirm button on the Review Payment page to complete the payment.
